Can you still fit flooring in people's homes?In line with the most recent Government guidance, we are still able to supply and fit flooring for commercial and domestic customers. Our highly trained fitters are fully PPE compliant and will wear face masks, gloves and blue shoes when entering your property. They carry hand sanitizer and antibacterial/disinfectant wipes, they will disinfect before and after each appointment as well as disinfecting any surfaces they have come in contact with. We ask that you allow access to your home and the fitters will maintain social distancing whilst they complete your installation. Before your appointment our fitters will contact you to ensure both parties are fit and well.

Can I visit your shop under the current guidelines?In line with the latest Government guidance our showroom is open. We are located at Clifton Moor, York. Shop Opening Hours: Monday - 9AM to 5PM Tuesday - 9AM to 5PM Wednesday - 9AM to 6PM Thursday - 9AM to 5PM Friday - 9AM to 4PM Saturdays & Sundays - Closed ​ We have a wide range of carpets, vinyls, engineered wood flooring and laminates, plus many more types of floor coverings for domestic and residential installations, through to contract and commercial. ​ Our range includes budget-friendly options, mid-range up to high-end quality products. ​ We also have our own in-house team of experienced, professional fitters who are Karndean and LVT approved installers. ​ We can provide a full service starting with your initial enquiry, leading to a free estimate service, planning and design, supply of all products and materials through to installation. ​ And if you prefer, we can bring samples straight to your door! ​ As restrictions change on the 19th July, we are still offering hand sanitiser for all customers and will be performing regular cleaning. All customers and staff are welcome to wear face masks if they feel more comfortable to do so, and we encourage all customers and staff to respect the social distance of everyone else in store. We ask that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 or feel unwell we would ask that you delay your visit until you are feeling better. ​ Thank you.

Do you offer video calling?In line with the current Government guidance our showroom is reopening on the 12th of April. ​ However, if you prefer to not visit just yet, we would love to arrange a video consultation with you. We can show you around our showroom and also our remnants warehouse, and will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding room sizes and suitable flooring types. Do you offer a measuring service?Yes we offer a free estimating, measuring and planning service

Do you bring samples to me?Yes we can bring samples to your home

How long does it take for fitting?Fitting is all dependant on stock availability and the size of the work required.

Can you move furniture?We can offer an additional service for moving and replacing furniture and quote accordingly

Do you offer a binding services?Yes we offer an in-house service for carpet binding/edging.

Can you get rid of my old floor coverings?We offer an additional service for uplifting/ removing/disposing existing floor coverings if this is required.

Do you fit underfloor heating?Yes, we provide a full planning and installation service for electric underfloor heating, and can advise on and supply compatable flooring for heated floors.

Do you clean carpets?We do not provide a carpet cleaning service but we highly recommend 2venture Floorcare Specialists.
